Our community showed up in big numbers for a day of food, drink, prizes and 3-Club golf at Newport Beach Golf Course on Friday, May 31, 2019.
We are thankful to our food and beverage sponsors (Outback Steakhouse, Newport Rib Co., Original Pizza II and Anchor Bar, The Crack Shack and The Butchery) for making the all-you-can-eat-and-drink event possible.
We oversold the event by a foursome and had fun doing so. The event brought in just under $10K to help fund the program’s computer and software needs, as well as pick up a few extra numbers of uniforms.
“For the most part, people had a ton of fun,” Newport Harbor Football Booster Club President Jason Lavin said. “It was a great day for Tar football. I am always impressed, but never surprised with the generosity of our community. The day was filled with laughs, friends and some decent golf. Lots of good vibes.”
