Senior DB Garrett Emerson had a 30-yard pick 6 and a blocked punt to lead the Sailors (7-4) over visiting Valencia (5-6) in the first round of CIF Division 4 playoffs.
Junior WR Josiah Lamarque went on to lead the Sailors’ receiving corps with nine catches for 103 yards and two touchdowns. Senior WR Kashton Henjum made five grabs for 90 yards and a score.
